In addtion to serving as a doorway to a variety of business enterprises in the Lone Star State, it offers a numerous, useful educational sites: biographies of "Famous Texans," pictures and literature on birds and wildflowers of the state, short histories of places and events within the state's histories, directories of state parks and forests, listings and addresses of current legislators, an "Events Calendar," and travel resources.
