The Squiggly Snake says: "ssssss...."

Young scholars identify the sound the letter /s/ makes. They associate the /s/ sound with the letter symbol and practice finding the /s/ in words. As a class, students make the /s/ wound, draw the letter symbol. They read a book, "James and the Good Day," and talk about the story. Young scholars raise their hands anytime they hear an /s/ word in the story.

Melissa W.
Lesson Planet does a great job in matching appropriate resources with the lessons I am trying to find. I need things that will make learning real, but at the same time, fun and interesting, and I can always count on Lesson Planet to provide that.
