Tornadoes

Curated and Reviewed by Lesson Planet
This Tornadoes ppt also includes:
  • Graphic & Image
  • Join to access all included materials

This PowerPoint can be used to introduce mini meteorologists to this extreme weather phenomenon. The imperfections of this resource include a link to a tornado recording that does not work, blurry graphics depicting the steps of tornado formation, and a focus on tornadoes that have struck Xenia, Ohio in the past. Also, the plural of tornado is misspelled ont he title slide! If you replace the sound file and the graphics and correct spelling errors, the result would be a presentation appropriate for middle schoolers.
