In the activity on this webpage, learners use interactive graphing technology to investigate transformations of graphs. In the first part of the task, they look at the graph of a quadratic function with coordinates of a few points labeled and are asked to identify coordinates of points that lie on the graph of the transformed function. The technology allows various manipulations of the graph to aid in the investigation. In the second part of the task, pupils look at the graphs of a function and a transformation of the function and answer questions about the relationship between the two.
