Types of Radiation

While there are many different types of radiation, the three most commonly studied include alpha, beta, and gamma. Part of a larger Veritasium playlist, the video explains the discovery of radiation as well as the exploration of different types of radiation. Then, it shows how scientists use a Geiger counter to distinguish between three samples of radiation and the various materials used to block them.
