Kids wonder about eyeglasses, and why people have to wear eyeglasses. This should shed some light on the subject. Learners develop an understanding about eyelgasses, and also other visual aids, such as magnifying glasses. In fact, they use one to examine leaves, feathers, their fingerprints, and newspapers. This discussion can be extended to include other types of aides that people have to use, such as wheelchairs, and hearing aides. "Arthur's Eyes" is the episode this instructional activity is designed to accompany.
