Twelfth graders evaluate the state of the economy and develop a definition for unemployment. In groups, they read an article about how the economy affects society and discuss how it affects them. Individually, they research the types of careers in demand at the current time and ones they are interested in. To end the lesson, they share the type of training and education they would need to have the job.
