Unit Price

Curated and Reviewed by Lesson Planet

Extend an understanding of ratios and proportions to include unit rates. The video lesson compares two prices of different sizes using two methods. The instructor first calculates a unit price for each product and compares the costs. The second method shown uses a proportion to calculate the expected cost of a comparable size using the first cost.
