Classroom Considerations

  • This is the first lesson in a series of labs that explore the cycle of plate tectonics
  • Requires samples of minerals and volcanic rocks
  • Some concepts may prove too difficult for kindergarteners to understand, therefore, tailor each lab section to meet the needs of the class members

Pros

  • Comes with a workbook for all sections in the unit
  • Allows for hands-on learning

Cons

  • Slightly advanced topics for kindergarteners
