Second graders work with an interactive CD-ROM to reinforce short and long vowel sounds. Students play a game from the CD-ROM "Vowels Short and Long" to practice spelling out names of items pictured on the screen. Students fill a ladder with all the words they have spelled correctly before moving on to a new game.
