Weapons in school: Protection or danger?

Students write an editorial (staff opinion) or commentary (writer's opinion) if they/he or she believe the school rules are either too strict or too lenient when addressing weapons possession. Students research past situations in their school or another local one, and the current status of weapon control in the school. Students interview local community members about their views.

Sara C.
Lesson Planet has helped me differentiate my classroom as needed. I always find it easy to adapt work for struggling learners but find it more difficult to adapt work for higher level learners. By using lesson planet I get great ideas to create fun, challenging work for my higher level learners.
