Students study plant and animal interdependence by studying bees and pollination. In this interdependence lesson plan, students discuss flower parts and dissect it to show its reproductive parts. Students then use tissue and pipe cleaners to make flowers. Students participate in a bee colony role play and search for pollen. Students discuss honey and beeswax as well as the role honey bees play in pollination for all plants.
