What is a Reflection?

Curated and Reviewed by Lesson Planet

There are many ways to transform geometric figures. This lesson will illustrate how to reflect figures over a line to get a mirror image of the figure. The teacher will draw three different reflections: one as reflected over the y-axis, one as reflected over the x-axis, and thirdly as reflected over a line represented by y=x.
