Young scholars engage in book-making and sharing activities that increase their awareness about their own development from baby to child in order to develop language and social/emotional skills. In this development lesson, students select an item from home that was special to them when they were babies, then bring it to school to share. Young scholars create a book entitled "When I Was a Baby," which includes their baby photo.
