Analyze a Happy Meal™ for nutrient content and calories. Blend the contents into "McMush" and use Biuret's solution to test for protein content. There are a few problems with the lesson plan: the resource links are no longer valid, the formatting leaves pages cut off at the bottom, and learners must have laboratory experience to carry out the testing. If you can wade through the problems, however, there is plenty of material to develop an engaging and worthwhile lesson plan for your health class.
