Who Depends on the Saguaro?

Young scientists design a picture of a saguaro cactus that shows the cactus and some of the animals and plants that interact with it. There are many of these special relationships between plants and animals of the Sonoran Desert. Your young scientists describe how these interactions are a benefit to the plants and animals that engage in them. Learners put on a class play about the saguaro cactus and its plant and animal "friends."

Donna S.
After 28 years of teaching English, I signed up to teach grade nine art. My school only has 15 teachers and the students were losing out on opportunities to explore their creativity. Having access to the lessons on Lesson Planet has helped me to cover the curriculum while having fun with all the different ways of teaching the subject. To say this site is a blessing is an understatement!
