Wildlife Track Identification

Even though the PowerPoint slides for this lesson are not included, you may find it useful for the wildlife track preservation instructions provided. After demonstrating the steps for making track casts, take your class outdoors to make their own. This lesson would be particularly useful for an outdoor school, field study, or any wildlife biology/ecology class that takes place where you have access to animal tracks.

Being a first year foreign language teacher came with many trials. However, having Lesson Planet has made my job so much easier :). I can always find a few lessons on any given concept I am introducing to my students. The neatest thing is the agility of use the site provides and the search for lessons by grade. I love that! (Especially since I teach 4th - 8th graders.) I need a variety of lessons that meets my students' needs at their level.
