Creating "AB" Patterns

Students study "AB" patterns in visual arts and math. In this "AB" patterns lesson, students participate in a demonstration of what makes an "AB" pattern using students as models. They use math manipulatives and textile pieces to model the pattern before making a 4 x 4 square with colored paper that show a checkerboard pattern.

Heather D.
Lesson Planet has helped me find many ideas for supplementing the curriculum that is provided to me by my school district. I have found many creative, hands-on activities that make my science curriculum "pop".
