Students examine Mexican poetry in the form of corridos.  In this multicultural creative writing lesson, students research the tradition of Mexican corridos.  Students analyze the historical context surrounding several corridos, and observe how that context contributed to the writing of the poem itself.  Students compose their own corridos.
