Students explore musical theater productions.  In this music arts lesson, students discuss the elements of composing a musical production.  Students draw on prior knowledge by discussing their personal experiences attending various musicals, and use these experiences to dissect the elements of musicals.  In small groups, students research the history of musical theater including popular composers.
