Young scholars learn about the parts of a plant, and how plants live and grow.

Ninth graders record information on aquatic ecosystems and create a labeled diagram of an ecosystem of their choice. They can choose from an ocean zone, estuary, river, lakes, or beaches. The student has to explain their biome of choice.

Seventh graders identify the different parts and functions of the cell. In this biology lesson, 7th graders make a labelled diagram of either a plant or animal cell. They write a story about it.
