Students develop the different jumping patterns (hopping; jumping using 2 feet take-offs and landings; leaping; 1-to-2 foot jumps; 2-to-1 foot jumps)

Fifth graders work cooperatively in groups to assemble and launch a rocket.

First graders review peacemaking strategies by identifying their capacity of creating and promoting peace within their classroom, home, community, and world. Fractions are introduced through the making of a "peace pie."

Students create pictures using a geoboard and straws using the X and Y axis.

First graders experiment with fat content by analyzing snack foods. They learn what makes up a nutritious snack.
