Fourth graders interview people from three different age groups about superstition including what they believe and why they believe it. This lesson goes along with the classic book, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.

Fourth graders participate in an activity measuring length, weight and capacity. They incorporate physical movements to help them explore measurement.

Students study how archaeologists analyze artifacts to answer questions about past cultures. They explain why pottery is important to archaeologists and how they use classification to answer their research questions.
