Lead your young scientists into an exciting world as they participate in a role play and experiment focused on proteins and DNA. After researching the Central Dogma of Biology, individuals or groups participate in a classroom slide presentation before performing a DNA extraction experiment on common fruits to uncover the hidden genetic code that comprises their DNA. They conclude by discussing results of their experiment and completing practice problems to assess their knowledge of the material.
