Angles, Degrees, Protractors . . . Oh My!

Fourth and fifth graders make a protractor and identify various angle types. In this protractor and angle lesson, learners make their own protractor and use it to measure a variety of angles. They complete worksheets while identifying the different types of angles. They draw three angles to be measured by a partner before the teacher assesses their work for accuracy. You will appreciate how well-written the lesson plan is.

Lesson Planet has given new life to concepts that I have taught for years! It is an awesome resource. I introduced my student teacher to Lesson Planet last year and she is using it this year in her classroom.
