Seventh graders brainstorm a list or web of what they think the books will be about and what they might learn from the books. Students hold a discussion of the nights' reading following the literature circle format. Students write journal entries about his or her thoughts about the book. STudents identify and explain various vocabulary terms as found in the books they read.
