Cloud and Weather Patterns

Curated and Reviewed by Lesson Planet

Fourth graders examine how weather patterns generally move from west to east across the United States, and how clouds are formed and are related to the water cycle. They view and discuss a PowerPoint presentation of the types of clouds, and observe cloud movements on the NOAA weather website. Students then create a cloud picture using a variety of craft materials.
