Email Writing

Students review rules of writing emails for letters, informal to a friend and formal.  In this writing activity, students sort email strips into these categories and then review examples of good and bad semi-formal emails. Students work in pairs to compose an email to city information center asking for information about the city. Students exchange and proofread classmates emails. A list of "do's" and "don'ts" for writing is included.
