Exploring the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Part 2

Students are given a copy of the "The Universal Declaration of Human Rights" and read them together. In groups, they match the rights listed on a master list with the articles in the Declaration and research specific rights using the internet. They also identify the article that refers to religion and discuss any obstacles to freedom in a country.

Heather D.
Lesson Planet has helped me find many ideas for supplementing the curriculum that is provided to me by my school district. I have found many creative, hands-on activities that make my science curriculum "pop".
