Learners discuss which animal makes a better pet.  In this statistics lesson, students examine the factors that cause people to choose one animal over the other (cat or dog).  Learners discuss their own opinions, and then view a video about why both animals are the top pet choices.  Then students work in small groups to examine the characteristics of both animals, and then once again discuss their personal opinions as to which pet is better.
