Welcome to Fraction City! This is an incredibly interactive and fun way to teach properties of fractions, and reaches multiple learning styles. Scholars create "blocks" by folding strips of paper in various increments (thirds, fourths, etc.). Using the blocks, learners are guided through comparing fractions, equivalent fractions, and addition and subtraction, and like and unlike denominators. They "drive" down the blocks using a toy car. Full of great options!
