Fused Glass Landscape

Students research and recognize work of several glass artists such as Chihuly, Tiffany, and Wright, define landscape and other relevant vocabulary terms, and create full fused glass plate/bowl using landscape and/or nature as subject matter. They become familiar with glass terms and techniques that can be applied to fusing glass, and use elements of design placing emphasis on line, color and texture. Alternate lesson plan included for younger students.

When plans are needed, and time is short, I begin here for help from my colleagues. The framework of lessons, excellent worksheets, and multimedia presentations has proved extremely helpful.
