Good Book, Bad Book: Lesson 2

Curated and Reviewed by Lesson Planet

An interesting way to incorporate pop culture and the elements that make a book good. Kids watch a clip from MTV Cribs, they discuss how good or bad books are similar to good or bad homes. They are all different and not everybody will like the same thing, but some things are a must. They discuss what they like about or don't like about a specific book and give details that support their opinions. This is a preliminary task intended to prime them for a bigger project.
