Primary Hypertension is the most common type of hypertension, accounting for 90-95 per cent of all cases. There is no known cause for primary hypertension as it develops over a period of time. Risk factors include increasing age, smoking, chewing tobacco, second hand smoke, drinking too much alcohol, obesity, genetics, and African American heritage sensitivity to salt. Symptoms include headache, blurred vison, and disorientation.
