Video is the first of two parts to demonstrate an example using election statistics to compare the population proportions of the women and men who voted for a particular candidate. This first video just shows how to calculate the mean and standard deviation of the difference of the proportions. The next video will show how to create a confidence interval and use it to determine if the difference in proportions is significant. [10:47]
