Lemon Meringue or Cream Pie Lab

Young scholars review a recipe for lemon meringue or cream pie and complete a cooking lab planning sheet. They mix and prepare the crusts, bake them and let them cool. They prepare a cream filling and pour it into the crust. They top the pies with either a meringue or whipped cream. Once the pie is set, they eat it and share with other groups.
