Where is the line of symmetry in these shapes? Review this concept using the visual guide at the top of the page, explaining how some shapes have multiples lines. Consider demonstrating this concept with large cut-outs, physically folding the shapes in half. Scholars start by finding the line of symmetry in two shapes, each of which only have one. Next, there are three shapes which may have more than one line, and scholars draw as many in as they can find. There's a trick here: one of these shapes still only has one line of symmetry.
