Measuring Lengths Using Rulers

A visual measuring exercise that lends itself nicely to an all-class warm up, especially as it doesn't provide room for scholars to write in answers on the sheet itself. They examine 10 rulers and determine the length in either inches, centimeters, or millimeters (specified for each). These are not for beginners; there are fractions involved, and not just halves and quarters. Consider assigning each learner one of these ruler measurements and challenging them to find something in the room with the same length.
