Patchwork Quilt

Young scholars compare and constrast fiber arts from a variety of cultures and time periods. They draw a patchwork quilt using irregular geometric shapes and bright colors. Students display their quilts as part of an exhibit. They are told that the craft of quilting goes bact at least to ancient Egypt.
