Ahoy Matey! Join PBS Kids characters Peg + Cat to explore fair sharing and solve math problems to help a group of cranky pirates divide things fairly. Children will separate sets of objects into equal groups and divide single objects (i.e., bananas, pizzas) into halves and quarters. On the last day, children will use fair sharing skills to make and enjoy a fruit salad. Each section of this weeklong adventure is introduced by a video clip or online game that encourages children to explore math concepts and skills related to simple division and fractions.
