Your math scholars may recognize patterns, but do they know they can use them to practice addition and subtraction? This activity has scholars counting by threes, fours, and sixes to analyze number patterns and complete a sequence. First, they circle the number that doesn't fit into a pattern, then they count by threes from 92 to reach 110. Finally, students write a missing number into a more challenging sequence. Challenge them to work backwards, beginning at the end.
