Represent a Fraction on a Number Line

Curated and Reviewed by Lesson Planet

Make fractions easier with a visual representation along a number line. There are eight fractions here for scholars to match to their corresponding number lines. Although this is a good idea, the formatting isn't ideal. Ask kids to simply draw lines from the fraction to each number line instead of dealing with the letters, which are not aligned well. More meticulous learners may point out that some of the number lines don't have perfectly even divisions; make this blanket assumption before they begin.
