Seeing through Touch

Curated and Reviewed by Lesson Planet

Young scholars explore solid objects using touch. In this art lesson, students are blindfolded and given a 3 dimensional object to explore with their hands. After the object is removed, young scholars draw what they think the object looked like. The object is given back and visual and non-visual representations are compared and contrasted.
