Ship Shape

Second graders explore shapes and create a Silly Shape book. Students recognize that shapes have certain properties and be able to define them. Example, a triangle is any three-sided shape. Students' job is to make a picture on construction paper using only their given shape. Students are encouraged to use many different sizes of their shape in different positions.

Kathy S.
When plans are needed, and time is short, I begin here for help from my colleagues. The framework of lessons, excellent worksheets, and multimedia presentations has proved extremely helpful.
