Syllable Sleuth

Do your learners have what it takes to be a syllable sleuth? Have them try out their skills on this syllables worksheet, which begins by having students consider what resource is available to help them determine the number of syllables in various words (dictionary). They continue by circling the correct way to break up 5 different words into syllables, circling words with 3 syllables, drawing an X on words with 2 syllables, and determining syllable breakdowns in common words.
