Symmetry

Curated and Reviewed by Lesson Planet

These symmetrical shapes are only half-completed, so scholars finish them by drawing the other side of the line of symmetry. Because your class won't recognize these abstract shapes, they will get authentic practice with this objective. There are 16 shapes total. Consider showing scholars the concept by folding paper in half and having them draw one of these half-shapes using the fold as the line of symmetry. If they cut it out, they will see the finished shape from the worksheet.
