Ten Flashing Fireflies

How many ways can ten fireflies be arranged in (and out) of a jar? After your class has read Ten Flashing Fireflies, this is a great way to incorporate some relevant math. Cut-out templates of the ten fireflies and the jar are included. Learners try out different arrangements of some fireflies in the jar and some out, using various methods to show the ways they come up with.
