In this tessellations learning exercise, 10th graders solve 6 different types of tessellation problems that includes drawing. First, they define polygon, regular polygon, tessellation, regular tessellation, and semi-regular tessellation. Then, students draw a parallelogram, a square, and a rectangle. In addition, they explain why the triangles described will tessellate a plane.
