Students are given an authentic task: to create a museum that documents the Underground Railroad used by slaves to escape from the South and seek freedom in the North.

My students have had many opportunities to extend their learning by engaging in extra practice activities that I found through Lesson Planet. It's much easier to differentiate instruction because I can pull together various levels of the same skill. Thanks for making my life a little less hectic.
