Tenth graders examine the role of women in the early 1900s. In groups, they use the internet to research groups who favored or opposed giving women the right to vote. To end the lesson, they note the methods used by women to finally gain the right to vote.

Sabrina F.
I have been able to find a variety of resources to meet a variety of needs. As a special ed teacher I need to continually find new ways of presenting the material and Lesson Planet always has many great ideas that have worked wonderfully in my classroom. It's especially great when I need to make a last minute change to a lesson!
